Some
versions of PregCalc prior to 4.2 have a bug that causes
dates starting in 2004 to be recorded as dates that are
100 years earlier. This is essentially a Y2K problem that
did not become apparent until 2004 because the Palm operating
system only recognizes dates from 1904 onward.
This
problem has been fixed in PregCalc Pro version 4.2, but
there was another bug that caused the patients to be sorted
incorrectly in the list view. Version 4.3 fixes this problem.
Follow this
link to download this new version. I have not yet built
a new complete installer with the desktop version; the download
is just the application for the handheld.
If
you previously registered PregCalc, you do not have to pay
for the program again; just install the file as you would
any other Palm application via the HotSync process. The
next time you run PregCalc Pro on your handheld, you should
be using the new version. This new release should automatically
detect your registration status and you should not have
to enter your registration code again.
I
thank you all for waiting so patiently for this bug fix.
I have tested this on several Palm and Sony devices and
believe this version to be stable, but I would appreciate
hearing from
you about how the new version is working.
