The
database for the StatTracker program is automatically backed
up to your desktop Mac or PC every time you HotSync. The
best way to safeguard against accidental loss of your data
(which could happen easily if the batteries on your device
run out or if you lose the device) is to use the HotSync
feature regularly. If you haven't yet set up your desktop
computer to HotSync with the Palm device, you should do
so now if you are going to continue using the StatTracker
program. It's easy to do using the instructions and free
software that came with your handheld. If you have a Mac,
you will have to get the Mac software either by purchasing
the MacPac package from Palm or by downloading the software
from the Palm
site.
