Important
Information about Registering Ob/Gyn StatTracker
|

To
remove the 25 case limit in the demo version of StatTracker,
register your copy to receive an unlock key. A single user license
and unlock key costs $24.95 and can be purchased online instantly
through the secure server at Handango.com. When you choose to
receive a receipt via email on the download screen, Handango
will send you your unlock key immediately, 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Please read the important
notes below about entering your HotSync ID on the Handango
order page in order to receive a working unlock key.

When
you purchase your unlock key it is extremely important
that you enter your HotSync ID (the name you entered when you
first performed a HotSync) precisely including capitalization
and punctuation since your unlock key is calculated from
this ID. Please note that your HotSync ID is NOT the serial
number on the back of your device. There are two ways to determine
your HotSync ID:

1.
You may read your HotSync ID off the screen of your handheld
device if you already have the StatTracker application installed.
To get to this screen, start the StatTracker application, then
from the main list of cases, tap on the menu icon in the silkscreened
icons area at the lower left as shown in the illustration at
right. |

Next
choose "Register" from the menu that drops down from
the top of the screen. |

You
will then be taken to the screen that shows your HotSync ID.
Be careful of common errors such as typing MD instead of
M.D., omitting spaces, and capitalization errors. The unlock
key you receive will only work with the HotSync ID that you
enter on the registration form.

A separate registration is required for each Palm OS based device
on which you use StatTracker. You may HotSync multiple handheld
devices running StatTracker to the same desktop PC or Mac without
any problem. You may also install the conduit on any desktop
computer with which you HotSync.

Alternatively you may read your HotSync ID off the screen of
your desktop PC or Mac. To do this you will need to have
installed the Palm Desktop software that came with your handheld
device.
After starting the Palm Desktop software, look in the upper
right hand corner of the main window where you will see your
HotSync ID in a pulldown menu to the right of the word "User:"
as in the illustration at right.

Please
note that Ob/Gyn StatTracker is NOT yet compatible with
Palm OS 5, and therefore will not run on some of the
newest handhelds such as the Palm Tungsten series and
the Sony NX-70V that use this newest version of the Palm
OS. We are hard at work on a compatible version of StatTracker
to support this new operating system. Watch this web site
for details.
If
you already registered and paid for an unlock key, but
your key does not work, DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN as
your credit card will be charged a second time. See
this page for instructions on how to get a valid unlock
key.
