WASHINGTON -- November 26, 2001 -- Workingpalm.com, publisher of health care applications for Palm OS (tm) powered handheld organizers, announced today that it is changing its brand name and will now be known as Medical Toolbox Software. The change is effective November 26, 2001.

Medical Toolbox vice-president Michelle Burnett M.D. says that the rebranding "is part of the natural evolution of our business and reflects our focus on the needs of health care providers. We wanted a brand name that better identifies our mission, which has always been to provide useful applications to the mobile medical professional at a reasonable price. "

With the rebranding, Medical Toolbox is introducing a newly redesigned website, www.medicaltoolbox.com. The new site adds numerous user interface improvements as well as improved technical support pages. The site also incorporates the addition of its newest product, PregCalc Pro, recently acquired from Thenar Software.

Medical Toolbox Software is a privately held company based in Washington, D.C. Previously known as Workingpalm.com, the company published its first application for Palm OS (tm) powered handheld organizers in 1999.
